Last thursday, I finally finished Breaking Dawn, the 4th book of the Twilight series.... And you know what??? I don't understand why it is a best-seller... Here is why:
1. I think this one didn't leave me during the time I read the series... It says 'Hypnotic and dreamy prose' at the back of the covers.... HEH-LOH!!!???? Which part of the book is hypnotic and dreamy?? Sorry, but the woman's descriptions are too weak, and she uses the same words again and again!!! The characters do nothing but 'mutter', 'wince', 'cringe', 'roll their eyes' and 'grimace'.... Even at translation exam, I don't use the same word twice (and the exam is in spanish!)!!!! And she is graduated from literature department too!! She really should get a Thesaurus dictionary or she should read more...
2. The story is nothing special... Yeah, I know some people go like 'Omg!! It's a vampire novel!! Me loves vampires.....' etc... OK, I confess this isn't the lamest vampire novel ever (While the Vampire Kisses series exist, it can't be..
3. The ending is extremely disappointing... It's pretty obvious that Meyer's deadline was aproaching so she had to make up that crappy ending... But come to think of it, did she have the talent to create a story with mind-blowing ending all along?? After Alice and Jasper ran away, I expected that something big would happen in the end... Moreover Alice gave Bella this guy's adress and stuff... And I thought that this J person was some kind of powerful vampire that would bring the Volturi down... The USA Times says 'Move Over, Harry Potter' !!!! How dare they say such a thing?? Harry Potter books were like a pieces of a puzzle and at the end of the book JK Rowling didn't leave us with a temporary taste in our mouths... In Breaking Dawn there are many unanswered questions and the book itself doesn't really satisfy me.... Some best-seller...
But of course there were good points in the book too.... Since we don't have many gentlemen around us (to be honest, we have none), we really love Edward... Especially the part in which he proposed to Bella, I was like 'o.O Will someone say those words to me one day????????'... I think most of us think ourselves as Bella while reading the book
So the conclusion(Sorry, I'm getting bored, I will write no more): The book worths reading but in the summer, when you are deadly bored and no one is in town... So don't read it when you have exams or other stuff to do... And Stephenie should go to college once again...
the clubs i help to manage

Budur, haricinde sana 'My Immortal'ı okumanı tavsiye edip, 'Still better than Twilight' diyerek de abartıyorum ama söylediklerine (şimdilik gördüğüm kadarıyla) katıldığımı söylemek istiyorum. Yaklaşık üç paragrafta en az üç kere 'angelic' diye tekrar varsa ki geri kalanında da var anlaşılan, sıfatları şimdiden görebiliyorum... kusmaya gidiyorum ben Aslıcım, kendine iyi bakasın.
1 hakkında 'Ben daha iyisini sooleyemezdim' demek istiorum.. Yani zaten kendisi icin yazmıs diyemez ztn, hani bazıları kendileri icin yazarlar ya da cizerler fln ama urettikleri sey harika bisidir... Bu yani cok kotu.. Kardesim daha ii yazardı yani.. Hatta bu hypnotic and dreamy kısmına laf ettiimde de gayet tartısmıstık kendisiyle
2) Aslında 7. kitapla ben de biraz hayal kırıklıı yasadım cunku esasen ben daha uzun bisiler bekliodum... Voldemort'un sekline semaline kavusması 4 kitap surdu ama adamın parcalarını birer birer bulup yokettiler 600 saifede... Bi de bazı mantık hataları vardı, bi kac yerde... Cık cık cık, JK yakısmıor bunlar sana.. Ama yine de seviorum yani... Ztn benim favori Harry Potter kitabım 4
Ya zaten o kelime tekrarları beni oldurdu yaa... Sende kendine ii bak hadi
I loved it at first, because i read twilight when it first cam out, and then... I found it si tedious
I didn't need Bella telling me time and time again just how good looking Edward is, and i didn't need Edward confessing his love for Bella in every other line.
I think that it could have been done so much better, and because of that, it was a let down, and Meyer's explanations leave much to be desired, and things aren't cleared up at all.
I'm sorry, but the conversations i have with my friends are far more interesting >.<
I know! I mean for goodness sake, I'm an A Level English Lit. student, and I can write better sentances than that!
saka saka..
